Inspired by a transformative late-night pilgrimage to the caves of Crete, where prayers have echoed through the ages, the Cave Chapel Lumière captures the profound stillness and beauty of these sacred spaces.
Designed exclusively by Stacey K., each Cave Chapel is individually handcrafted from natural stone. No two pieces are ever the same. The variations in colour, veining, translucency and form are part of the stone itself, making every Cave Chapel a truly unique piece.
When illuminated, the stone and carved opening interact with candlelight to create a warm, intimate glow - reminiscent of the flickering light Stacey experienced within the ancient cave commemorating the Seven Sleepers of Ephesus.
More than an object of light, the Cave Chapel Lumière was created as a place for pause, prayer and remembrance. It may be used as a devotional light, a memorial candle, a quiet focal point for reflection, or simply as a beautiful sculptural object within the home.
